With a background in biology, I’ve always been interested in both public and individual health. After graduating from Oberlin College, I worked with environmental non-profits for 15 years. I came to acupuncture through personal experience while living in Ithaca, NY: I had chronic neck pain and had not found relief through conventional medicine. After only a few acupuncture treatments, my multi-year problem was resolved more easily than expected and subsequently I was interested in learning more about Traditional Chinese Medicine. This was also my first exposure to community acupuncture. The timing was right for personal change, so I returned to Ohio to pursue acupuncture.

I received my Master’s in Acupuncture from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in 2020, and am licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board and certified through the NCCAOM.

TCM recognizes that everything in the body is connected, which allows me to approach your concerns related to the body as a whole; you are a dynamic being rather than just an individual symptom. Our treatment for your pain may be totally different than for someone else’s, and that is the beauty of acupuncture.

My other passion is volunteering as a foster with Speak for the Unspoken, helping dogs with special needs find their fur-ever homes. In addition to acupuncture and dogs, I love meandering through the woods, learning to forage, and cooking with an abundance of fruits and veggies.
