Private treatments give us a chance to slow down and work more closely with you. They allow more time for focused treatment, education, and collaboration. On the first visit you will sit with your practitioner privately to discuss your health history, your reasons for seeking acupuncture treatment, and your wellness goals.<\/p>\n

Setting & Treatment<\/h3>\n

Treatments are offered in a private treatment room and on a comfortable massage table. Allows us to access any area of the body that may require local needles to be placed (where the problem is physically located). Hair-thin needles will be gently inserted into various acupuncture points to provide your body with the proper stimulation. They are typically left in place for 30-45 minutes on average. Electroacupuncture, TDP lamp therapy, or other techniques may also be applied as needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Patients walk out feeling relaxed and recharged and often notice positive changes in other areas of their person that may not have been their reason for coming. These \u2018side effects\u2019 often include improved sleep and digestion, more energy, less stress, overall improved health and a sense of well-being.<\/p>\n

The effectiveness will increase with frequency. We cluster treatments at the beginning (1-2 per week is common for the first few weeks of treatment) so you can begin to see results sooner.<\/p>\n

How do I know which one I need?<\/h3>\n

Private Acupuncture Treatment may be utilized to provide the much-needed relief from a stubborn or complicated medical issue. It allows different parts of the body to be treated directly as well as for additional methods of stimulation to be added to the treatment when appropriate. Such opportunity can yield a significant shift in a person\u2019s overall condition especially if improvement seems to be plateauing at any point in the treatment process.<\/p>\n
